Good design begins with fine typesetting. Celebrate the art of character spacing with our newest release, Well Kerned.
The term "kern" originated in the days of metal type. Negative letterspacing required trimming the side of a character to allow the printing face, or kern, to rest on the adjoining letter. Today the term refers to the adjustment of space between pairs of letters and is often confused with tracking, the overall adjustment of groups of letters or blocks of text.
The perfect companion to "Letterspaced." Set in Neuzeit S Book Heavy and printed in white on American Apparel's 6.1 oz cotton 2x1 rib boybeater tank top. Click here to see the AA size chart.
